Over the years, OCAC has been at the forefront of working with the Government and providing leadership on matters relating to the Downstream Oil Industry through representation across various forums. The Association has grown significantly in terms of memberships, and it is indeed an honor to become the Chairman of this esteemed association.
This is an exciting time in the country for the energy industry as we see Pakistan transitioning into cleaner fuels, addressing climate change through renewable and low-carbon energy sources, and driving the clean and green agenda by partnering with the Government. As an industry, we collectively have an important role to play in providing and building a safe and sustainable energy future for the nation. We will boost efforts to ensure a safe energy supply, with steady improvements in core industry operation, promoting collaboration to create a strong and effective OCAC. While we look forward to supporting the economic growth of Pakistan with traditional fuels and products, we will also be looking to the future with a strong commitment to the green, clean, and environmentally-friendly development of the industry.
