Mr. Nawed Tanwir Abbasi

Mr. Nawed Tanwir Abbasi is a senior downstream energy executive with over 30 years of experience across PARCO Gunvor Limited (formerly Total PARCO Pakistan Limited), Chevron Pakistan Limited and Caltex Oil (Pakistan) Limited. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of PARCO Gunvor Limited, bringing extensive leadership experience across enterprise strategy, commercial management, operations, supply chain and corporate governance.

Mr. Abbasi has been associated with PARCO Gunvor Limited and its predecessor organization for more than 30 years, having held several senior leadership positions across the business. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served as Vice President – HSEQ, Security & Sustainable Development and was a member of the Executive Committee, providing strategic counsel to the senior management on enterprise, commercial, risk and organizational matters.

From 2018 to 2023, Mr. Abbasi served as Vice President – Operations at Total PARCO Pakistan Limited, where he led nationwide fuel supply, transportation and terminal operations, overseeing large-scale supply, logistics, infrastructure and operational activities. His earlier career with Chevron and Caltex included progressive leadership roles in terminal operations, supply chain and operations, as well as retail asset transactions and network optimization.

With expertise spanning the downstream value chain, Mr. Abbasi’s experience encompasses fuel sourcing and supply security, logistics, retail network optimization, commercial negotiation and contracting, regulatory engagement, crisis and business continuity management, and health, safety, security, environment and quality.

He holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi.

Mr. Amir Abbassciy

Mr. Amir Abbassciy is a distinguished business leader and entrepreneur with over two decades of leadership experience across the energy, trading, infrastructure, and technology sectors. He has been serving as the Global Chief Executive Officer of Cnergyico PK Limited since July 2010.

A seasoned corporate leader, Mr. Abbassciy has extensive expertise in project development, structured financing, mergers and acquisitions, strategic execution, and stakeholder management. He has successfully led complex cross-border transactions, attracted significant local and international investment, and introduced global best practices across operations, risk management, and corporate governance.

Mr. Abbassciy also serves as Chairman of Premier Systems (Private) Limited (PSL), one of Pakistan’s leading IT infrastructure and technology solutions providers. Under his leadership, PSL has expanded its footprint across enterprise technology solutions and serves as the official importerand distributor of Audi vehicles in Pakistan, contributing to the introduction of premium automotive brands and luxury mobility solutionsin the local market.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Mr. Abbassciy has actively contributed to Pakistan’s corporate and energy policy landscape. He has participated in various governmental and non-governmental advisory forums, providing strategic input on energy policy, industrial development, and investment frameworks. His notable professional affiliations and roles include:

• Member, Young Presidents’ Organization (since November 2004)
• Member, World Economic Forum – Global Growth Companies (since July 2011)
• Executive Director, Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (2010–2012)

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the American College of Switzerland and a Master’s degree from the Business School of Lausanne, Switzerland.

Dr. Syed Nazir Abbas Zaidi

Dr. Syed Nazir Abbas Zaidi holds an engineering degree from NED University in 1980. He completed Masters and PhD in Material Science from University of Sheffield, England.

He has 12 years’ experience of heavy mechanical industries of Pakistan including Pakistan Steels and Saindak Copper-Gold Project. In 1995 he joined Pakistan State Oil as Technical Manager and worked in Lubricant, Operations, Supply, Logistics, Chemicals and Training Department and retired from PSO as Director Supply Chain.

He has also served as Secretary General OCAC between 2008-09 on secondment from PSO. After retirement from PSO he joined Hamdard University as Faculty teaching Masters/PhD students as well as MBA.

Ms. Aisha Masood

Ms. Aisha joined OCAC in December 2021. She has an experience of more than two decades (14 years in the Downstream sector). She has experience in areas of project management, supply chain, training, retail management and sales & marketing.

Mr. Saad Ahmed

Mr. Muhammad Moiz

Mr. Muhammad Moiz assumed the role of Assistant Secretary at the Oil Companies Advisory Council in November 2023, bringing with him over 5 years of experience in the Downstream Oil Industry of Pakistan. His versatile expertise includes roles in Supply Chain, Business Support, Finance, and Audit.

Before joining OCAC, Moiz contributed to Puma Energy Pakistan from 2018 to 2022 and, prior to that, worked in the service industry with a focus on the audit portfolio from 2013 to 2018. His educational background showcases his status as a CA Finalist, along with holding a Master’s in Economics and an MBA in Finance

Mr. Syed Danish Jamal

Syed Danish Jamal is a marketing professional with around five years of experience. He holds an MBA and joined OCAC in 2025 as an Analyst. He manages and analyzes the downstream data to assess Pakistan’s energy and non-energy fuel supply and demand, including imports, exports, production, and consumption trends.

Ms. Marrium Shah

Ms. Marrium Shah has been associated with OCAC for the last 7 years. She joined OCAC in 2014 and her role as an Analyst entails data collation, organization, reporting, and analysis of the Downstream Oil Industry’s Stock and Sales position on a day-to-day basis. Ms. Shah has also served as an Associate Business Analyst at SS&C Primatics and contributed to the data validation process in the testing of online accounting solutions for a foreign-based Financial Institution.

Marrium has a Master’s Degree in Finance & Risk Management from the Institute of Business Management, Pakistan.

Ms. Ayesha Ayub

Ayesha Ayub holds a Master’s degree in Finance and joined OCAC in 2023 as an Analyst. She has been assisting in laycan planning/Tanker Program and other data compilation.

Mr. Sohail Ghauri

Mr. Sohail has been working for Oil Companies Advisory Council since 2015, managing IT, accounts and administrative activities. Prior to the current role, he served ABM Data Systems from 2002 to 2014. He holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from the Sindh University of Jamshoro.

Ms. Rukhsar Maqsood

Rukhsar Maqsood is serving as an Accountant and HR executive with the Oil Companies Advisory Council. She is skilled in analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements and managing budgets. Rukhsar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
